Your Plan For The New Year

The finish of the year is busier than any other time of the year. They prepare our yards for winter by raking leaves, trimming bushes & putting down winter fertilizer. They prepare for the holidays by planning menus, purchasing gifts & decorating. They also tend to think about the things they need to accomplish in the approaching year. These thoughts may come from events that have occurred historicallyin the past year or years. Perhaps you or someone in your relatives got engaged, so you are thinking about wedding designs. Or a used kid is on the way. Or perhaps you are jogging a business & need to generate your business plan for the next year. Irrespective of the circumstances may be, you need to plan ahead so that when January 1st arrives, you can hit the ground jogging!

Start at the Beginning
The best place to start along together together with your planning hard work, is at the beginning. Write down what the aim or goals are that you need to accomplish. Make them realistic & measurable. An example of a realistic & measurable aim would be, to lose 25 pounds in 6 months. A not so lovely example would be, to lose weight. It is a start, but you need to set parameters to measure your progress & make adjustments to your strategy along the way to make positive that you reach your aim.

Peak Performance Time
Planning requires optimum brain power, so you need to pick what time of day you are at your peak performance, & schedule that time to generate your plan.

Action Designs
Now that you have your goals prioritized, you need to pick the way you are going to accomplish them. Let's look at the example aim above to lose weight. Do some research to find the best practices for weight loss. Some examples are, diet, nutritional supplements, & exercise.

Post & Review

In order to stay on track & accomplish the desired results, you need to be aware of your goals & your progress. Post your goals in a place where you can see them every day to keep them front & middle in your mind. Measure your progress along the way & alter your strategies, to correlate with what is working or not working. & keep in mind to reward yourself when you reach milestones, after all, you deserve to be rewarded for all of your hard work!

Strategies
Your goals are written & prioritized. You have your strategies laid out. Now you need to generate an action plan to implement your strategies. Generate a schedule of activities or tasks, based on your strategies. Schedule your activities to slot in along together together with your every day routines. Use a every day planner to schedule these activities - paper or electronic, whichever works best for you. By scheduling these activities with realistic durations, you are more likely to actually complete them.
